GAM Exhibition: Prize

Michita - Conquer

I went to the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art today to collect my photo and I really didn't expect it, but I won the Toyota City Assembly Chairman Prize. It was crazy, and totally unexpected. There were a slew of other prizes too and there were many great pieces there, from paintings, sculptures, calligraphy, etc. It was rather surreal.

In the evening, a friend of mine had her farewell party and I got the opportunity to meet her folks. It was a fantastic experience seeing the connection that is there between family. As expected, it was a pleasure getting along with the folks as it is with my friend. Very humbling to say the least.
