Stripy morning light

I didn’t sleep well. I forgot to ask in the bone clinic if I was supposed to wear the sling in bed. I’ve decided that I should, but it makes it really difficult to get comfortable. My normal routine is to go downstairs at 8:30 or 9:00, but this morning’s breakfast began at 7:00. One reward was the rather nice striped shafts of sunshine that came into the room through the gaps in the venetian blinds.
