Feeding time

We're in Canberra until the weekend. Today I went back to the Botanic Gardens. Late in the day I photographed this Crimson Rosella feeding in a Tree Fern, Dicksonia antarctica. At this time of year the underside of the fern fronds are covered with spores, which are a delicacy to the Rosellas.
