Frog Song

Denise and I took the dogs for a walk on the water meadows beside Oare creek today. Lots of wildlife seen including heron, little eaglet, stone-chat, lapwing, oyster-catchers etc. However, the stars of the show were the frogs who were croaking mellifluously. Tally surprised one and was quite elated to see it bound off into the water - she spent the next hour hoping this would happen again.

I did manage to get a couple of photos of sub-aqua frogs swimming, but they were pants; so here is a stationary frog, well aware of me, but biding his time.

LARGE is better (although small is usually beautiful).
