Petal Enchantment

One of the joys of the month of May, my birth month, are the number of different flowers everywhere. The peony captures my heart every single time. I bought a small bunch two days ago, so that they would open up and change colour a little every day.  This is the photo I liked the best, capturing the petals and a small peek of the stamens, on the lower right.

I will probably have to take more photos tomorrow and maybe Sunday because there are so many delicious details on these five flowers.
