The Rookery: Unfurling Ferns

Im and I went to The Rookery in the early afternoon sunshine... I took the macro lens hoping to photograph holly blues or orange tips; we saw both, but I didn't get a satisfying shot of either. I mostly photographed ferns and alliums, but we also saw a mouse and some newts, and Imogen spotted a crow taking off from the edge of the ponds with a newt.
