Our PV array

There were times during the planning when we thought it might be a rather intrusive addition to the back garden.  In fact, it's absolutely NOT overwhelming at all.  And it will make a considerable impact on our electricity consumption.

We woke to rain, but despite this, and the subsequent rather watery sunshine, we had refilled the battery and were exporting electricity by 3.30, when W returned from his physio appointment. 

W drove himself to physio this afternoon - what with his shoulder problem and the two cataract operations, he's done almost no driving for several months, apart from getting the car out of the garage (to enable work) and putting it away again.  So that was great.

Whilst he was out, I spent some time cleaning up the display cabinet we bought last weekend, and then did some flute playing.
