Foggy day

A dismal day, with fog persisting all day. This is looking along the coast towards the old windmill at St Monans, just visible through the fog. Elsewhere the fog was worse. Originally, this windmill pumped water from the sea into salt pans on the shore, heated by fires burning locally produced coal. Remains of the salt pans can still be seen.
