Pleach

Today my search for butterflies but was unsuccessful so instead show some of the minibeasts that were around.  There were a few bees including two that live in burrows or cavities.
The fluffy gingery bumble bee (Bombus pascuorum) on the White dead nettle is the Common carder bee and found in many locations.
I think the colourful one on a butterbur leaf is the Painted mining bee (Andrena fucata) that can be found thoughout Britain but is uncommon.
During the last couple of days the long shiny black St Mark's fly or 'hawthorn fly, (Bibio marci) has been flying around in large numbers with this one resting on flowers.
The tiny zebra spider (Salticus scenicus) is a common spider that jumps on its prey.
There were several ladybirds on different plants.
A common beetle which was scuttling along the path is a Sun beetle (Amara aenea)
I have not been able to identify the tiny wasplike insect on a stick but perhaps someone can identify it for me.
