Despite the Rain

Coronation Blip – this is a piece of our bunting over the back garden.

The whole thing went pretty well, but then I wasn't out in the rain for hours getting my uniform soaked.  I have been soaked in best uniform, but that was in the heat of a Florida summer for a remembrance service and sweat did the soaking.

There was to be a get-together in our little close, but we were the only ones braving the wet . . .

I'm firmly of the opinion that we need political reform in the UK, including the monarchy, but the whole team, from the bottom up, did a great job.
