Cream tea

J watched the coronation while I pottered about the house (so dipping in and out). I find it hard to get excited about such things though we do put on a good spectacle. I am not very comfortable with hereditary leaders - though also not that enthusiastic about presidential elections meaning no one can take a long term view.

J is very fond of his cream teas so when I spotted some clotted cream in the supermarket yesterday I thought I’d make some scones.

Then a walk - badly timed to mean that I was half way round the loop when the rain arrived! Should have known leaving the coat at home was foolish - was doing a great impression of a drowned rat by the time I got home!
