Haunting

Mummy shroud of a young girl.
During the Ptolemaic dynasty (Greek) and the later Roman controlled era of Ancient Egypt, portraits were painted on to shrouds or coffins (for the rich).
This example I saw at 'The Golden Mummies of Egypt' exhibition at the Manchester Museum, really affected me.
