Corwen FC 1 Caersws 5

First of all thank you for the Happy Birthday messages for my mum. She always looks at my blips so will have seen your kind comments.

A groundhopping trip into North Wales for today's match in the Ardal North East league, the third tier of Welsh football. Caersws have just won the League and have been promoted to the Cymru North so there was no surprise result although Corwen put up a decent fight. I captured a couple of goals and got some good action shots but I like this one with everyone (bar one person) watching the ball.

It was a shame the trains weren't running on the Llangollen railway as the station was just behind the ground and it would have been great to get an action shot with a steam train in the background
