Long may he ...erm reign

It was much anticipated the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla today.  I watched it snuggled up on the sofa from beginning to end and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Spectacularly ceremonial, fabulous music and some touching family moments.  I like King Charles and think he will be a great asset to our country.  Monarchy and privilege debates aside, I admire that he has always spoken out about environmental issues even though for years the press made him out to be a tree-loving-loony because of it.  

It looked pretty wet  in London at times but it rained all day here in Linton, so snuggled up on the sofa with a blanket was the best place to be.  

Jess and I ventured out late afternoon to take this picture of the wonderful post-box topper in the Chalklands.  Karen, who created this, has been announced (for other reasons) a Coronation Champion.  Her friends, and her band, are so proud of her.
