Started the morning in the only way appropriate, making scones! Becky and Grace came over to watch the proceedings and we found the whole thing a mix of being utterly bonkers (the sacred oven glove), a little bit magnificent (Floella Benj, Kate’s outfit) and the spellbinding (Penny Mourdent and her guns of steel). History unfolding but in quite the most bizarre way.

From there we popped round to The Ego for a spot of lunch and some further analysis.

Holly was in town this evening so we went out with some of the run gang to continue the celebrations.
