A Bit Late

We went for a small walk up to the canal marina this morning.   The Naval cadets were preparing a 21 gun salute for HRH unfortunately they had forgotten it was yesterday and also that they only had two guns, probably just as well they missed it, as we did!

That's one for Silly Saturday,  oh wait, I've missed that as well!

After lunch we drove over to the Moat House Inn, near Alcester, to meet Maureen and Ian. The weather was lovely , real summery weather, so we found a table outside and spent a very pleasant couple of hours nattering and drinking coffee (apparently I'm supposed to avoid alcohol with my condition).
