The Dolphin House, Culzean Castle, Scotland

Seeing the sea does me good. So we headed down to Culzean Castle in Ayrshire. We enjoyed a walk along the beach, around the Swan Pond, the Walled Garden and the Camelia House. We even saw a Viking re-enactment on the Castle lawn. Good views across to Arran and down to Ailsa Craig.

This is part of the Dolphin House, situated below the Castle, built between 1775 - 1780. It served as a laundry, on the site of a natural spring.
