Kinnoull Hill woodland #3

I always enjoy my walks up the hill, and the trees are just magnificent. Photographically I find the woods a real challenge - trees are too big close up; step back and another tree gets in the way. And of course they always lead the eye out of the picture.

This is probably my most processed blip ever. Three exposures combined with HDR Efex, Topaz Clarity (on trial), a bit of tweaking on the trunk in Lightroom, and finally Perfect Effects autumn filter to bring up the leaves.

Mrs P and I went to the final concert of the Perth Festival - the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra playing (mostly) Tchaikovsky. Very enjoyable.
