The depths blippers will go to

A year ago today we completed our Trailtrekker challenge - 63 miles in under 30 hours. Today our challenge was to get up early enough to go down Gaping Gill. BBC News We got there fairly early but despite our efforts we were number 203 in line and only 60 had gone down. A five hour wait ensued. And then some more.
In the meantime, we took a walk up to the top of Inglebrough looking lovely in sun and mist, and sat sunning ourselves by a stream.
Sadly half of our party bailed out as one had no intention of going down that 'bloody hole' and it seemed unfair to make her wait another two hours on her own as the temperature dropped. So here's a photo taken by the other half who did make it down there. I know it's kind of cheating as blipping goes, but it does represent our day. I particularly like the abseiler in yellow up the side to show the scale of the cavern.
Apparently Wednesday afternoon is the time to go if anyone out there fancies having a go (£10) and doesn't want a looooong wait.
