Coronation Lunch

MONDAY - BANK HOLIDAY

Yesterday we went to a garden party for the residents of the street. Today there was a "Bring and Share Picnic Lunch" event at the Salusbury Arms for the residents of Tremeirchion (population 700).  The village pub has recently been bought by the community group who raised £200,000 and secured matched funding from public funds.

We made lots of new friends and indulged in an array of sandwiches, savouries and cakes.

There was a children's fancy dress competition, a cake competition (which was won by a neighbour).and craft activities.

Another good day out.
