Bullfinch

This handsome bullfinch visited the garden this morning. He posed obligingly in several spots. Taken from inside, the quality of the photo would have been better if the window had been cleaner. The hydrangea bush looks like another frost casualty. I wasn't too impressed when the bullfinch perched on one of the baby apple trees and nibbled on a couple of buds.
