The Boy in the Bubble

On a lovely sunny day today we took my nephew Ian,his wife Clare and their two young sons to West Wight where we enjoyed a boat trip for a close up view of the Needles.Unfortunately the famous chair lift was out of action so we had to take the 185 steps down to the beach, but it was well worth the effort.

However for the youngsters the highlight was the Needles Adventure Park which had lots of family friendly rides and attractions to enjoy . Aidan's favorite was the Water Waltzers where he was able to walk on water.
He stepped inside the completely airtight hampster ball which was then zipped up and filled with air. The attendant then lowered the ball into the pool and by trying to stand up and walking inside the ball he was able to progress across the water.
It looked exhilarating but rather him than me.
