TREETOPS: LOOKING SOUTH

These mountains, part of the Indian Peaks Wilderness_
Overlook Granby Reservoir_
Second largest body of water in the state.
Developed to provide water from the western slope_
To cities on Colorado's eastern slope.

Currently the reservoir is 50% full and 50 ft. below maximum level.
Not enough water to fill this part of the lake, yet.
Out the front, we see lots of lake, but with more shoreline currently visible.

Since we've returned,
The Lake's been filling 8 inches a day with snow run-off flows.
Luckily, April brought huge snowstorms.

With 40 miles of shore it's a huge playground for boaters and fishermen.
