The River Ems

... on a quiet dry day after the busy albeit wet weekend. This is another of the tranquil and peaceful places on our walking trails around the village. Here the water flows year round, although some years more than in others.  The last 2.5 km of the River Ems delineates West Sussex from Hampshire and descends as a bubbling brook into the Slipper Mill Pond, from where it flows into the sea.
