Gibert

Gibert Joseph is a large, used bookstore with 6 floors on Boulevard Saint-Michel. It's a great spot to browse. Unfortunately, they didn't have the specific title I was looking for today... We stopped in after meeting a colleague from New Zealand for a drink at Rostand. We used to teach together in Guelph and now manage to see each other in Paris every couple of years - lots of fun to catch up! After dinner tonight I watched the first Eurovision semi-final, texting with my daughter who is a big fan. We were both satisfied with the finalists who were chosen to move on. There are some fun numbers - like Finland or Moldova, and France is looking good too. The next semi-final will be on Thursday.
