We were planning to tow our caravan north tomorrow for a friend's funeral near Grantham on Friday, but the local roads seem to have quite a bit of water standing, with more rain threatened.  I didn't want to risk having to turn back with a caravan so we have cancelled that idea and booked two bed and breakfast places.  It's going to be a fair old excursion . . .
