Baby steps

Glad you've all liked the owl & owlet pics, I'm mesmerised by popping round to check on him/her. Fairly sure there's only one chick, but Momma (I don't have high male expectations) seems to be keeping a good eye on her offspring. 

Back out with G today, a gentle reintroduction to rougher ground for us both. Ankle definitely wasn't happy, but it was a persistent ache rather than a sharp pain, felt like steps in the right direction.
