Optimistic Rosebuds

It has been relatively mild here....that is until today. We've had rain most of the day, and along with that, snow settled on the hills surrounding the Valley's of our wee town. I saw these two near perfect rosebuds, dripping with rain, and thought I had to photograph them, as any day now, the frosts will be hitting town, and these wee buds won't have a hope of blooming.
