Warming Up

We went to the Kennedy Center this evening to see the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra.  We heard lots of Sibelius, with a wonderful encore of Finlandia.  I managed to snap a shot of the harpist tuning her harp before the concert with my iPhone. 

I haven't been out with my camera a lot lately between the kitchen renovation, shopping for new table and chairs, and an arthritis flare in the thumbs of both my hands.  I saw a hand orthopedist a couple of weeks ago who gave me some splints for support and today I went back to him and he gave me steroid injections into the carpometacarpal joint of both thumbs in preparation for my trip to Costa Rica on Weds.
