Fresh green

I love the brightness of new spring leaves but best of all are freshly unfurled beech leaves. It was so peaceful to stand under the small group of  beech trees within our hazel and birch woodland, surrounded by this beautiful green canopy and the bird sounds as they flitted from branch to branch.
