World At Their Feet

With the golf course still flooded after Tuesday’s downpour, Tess and I went for a walk on Ham Hill and then sat outside the Prince Of Wales with a drink in the sunshine. It was warm enough not to need a coat for the first time this year.

These two were enjoying the view from the top of the escarpment.

We stopped on the way back at a recently opened garden centre, which is so vast we got rather overwhelmed with the range of plants on offer. We came home with a boot full.

Chris had confirmation that he is being made redundant this afternoon. He’s being very positive about it all and he’s already started the process of looking for a new job.

In more cheerful news, Kate’s Ofsted inspection seemed to go well and news broke this evening that a takeover deal for Yeovil has been completed, so it looks like we will have a team to support next season. We should find out who the new owner is tomorrow.
