Curious cattle

No sun to speak of, and a degree or two cooler than yesterday. Walked up past Carnousie Castle and down the track to the road above the Deveron. In extra, some of the damage done by the last big windstorm in January; there were at least six old beech trees down on the avenue as well as getting on for a hundred pines in the wood. River running high and very brown.

And posting a day or two later than usual - Third Tuesday is next week, 16 May. 6th blipmeet in this series.  Meet at the East Gate of the Edinburgh Botanic Gardens at 10.15.  Wander through the garden, possible stop for coffee at the West gate. If you let me know that you are coming (email in my profile) we will know to wait for you

Blip is a crowd of curious cattle, obviously trained to come investigate a person on foot, at Newton of Carnousie farm.

Road edge clearing and gardening later.
