The Lighted Life

Set to Drift Alone

We spent most of the day puttering about in the boat on the lake. The weatherman was blissfully wrong and I have a red forehead to prove it.

We visited by water the cove that houses Camp Mishawaka. Preparations have begun for summer camp. The sailboats stood ready and the docks were being assembled as we drove past.

This is the same camp that kidnapped our daughter Isabella for two weeks last year. She has willingly agreed to become their captive again this year. She is definitely suffering from the Stockholm syndrome.

Here is the tragedy of the moment. Last week, unexpectedly, Gabriella announced at the dinner table that she would join Isabella in detainment. My fork dropped.

Two weeks. No daughters. Not one in the house. Just Bonnie and me and the pups. This has never happened before in fourteen years.

I am excited for them but I will miss them so.....

If you have time, please see it in large...In large the detail in the trees comes to life

A back blip, we had periodic internet issues late last night
