Going Round in Circles

I noticed that Loseley Park gardens had free opening during May for RHS members, so grabbed my lunch and headed over.

The first thing that struck you was a glorious display and smell from the wisteria clambering over the garden wall (extra). This was quickly followed by a more unusual sight of people dotted around staring intently at the scenery before focussing back on drawing boards and canvases - yes, an art group had "invaded" the gardens. Wandering around I was highly impressed by their work and amazed at what they produced in just 4-5hours work.

Although still relatively early in the season, the gardens were looking wonderful. One of the predominant flowers was a euphorbia with intense lime-green florets.  Looking closer I spotted a metallic blue beetle, possibly an alder leaf beetle, crawling round one. Later I thought that this could also just about work as an abstract for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge of circles/round!
