Cryptid

It is thought this species would originally have lived on a diet of small mammals. However they have proved extremely adaptable and many are now found, like this example, in gardens open to the public. Their diet here is largely made up of small children and the old. Shortly after I took this photograph it caught and began to digest a child: the screams were mercifully brief, as they do disturb the peace of the garden somewhat.
