Gray Catbird ...

... as promised.

I was very pleased when this beautiful gray catbird landed where I could get a decent enough shot of him/her.  We have seen several nesting pairs in the days since our return from Tennessee on Saturday.  And I couldn't be happier.

Thursday in our normal "date night" and since the weather was fabulous we opted for a picnic supper at Jacobsburg State park.  We had some left over chicken so I made up some chicken salad for sandwiches and took that with us ... along with five-bean salad and potato chips.  Not a four course meal but it was delicious.  We had a lovely picnic followed by a walk at Henry's Wood trail. 

And then it was home for the rest of the evening ...
