Carpet of pink blossom.

I was out stretching my legs at lunchtime today and walked past the grounds of this residential home near the surgery in St Andrews.

It probably doesn’t compare with the beautiful pink rivers of blossom in Japan but I don’t think I have seen this amount of cherry blossom covering the ground here and it certainly stopped me in my tracks to reach for my phone !
