Busy Day (again)

My mother texts me and says have a rest day! What is that? A rest day is for when you have not seen what you want to see and then what? Sit? I’m not that person and she knows that lol!

We went back to the neighbourhood Colon, next to ours for the same breakfast of coffee and croissant before then heading to the Ceramic museum. The building itself is a work of art and inside equally as beautiful.

While we had been inside it had rained so glad we missed that as nothing with us in the way of rainwear!

We had booked Navarro again for yet another paella dish, this time we had the vegetable one. Again it was amazing! Again, the flavours . Cooked to perfection and the setting and staff is also good. This time we were upstairs at a window seat which was covered in beautiful plants. We finished in the 1.5 hours allocated, just, as we had a pudding as well.

Next up was back to the science and arts area, getting a bus there. I heard that many people objected to this modern, futuristic area being built but it went ahead and became successful . Probably objections were from the old foggies that hate change but if done right change can be good. Not in the case of Brexit obviously. The old foggies the xenophobes and those rich bastards wanting to keep their money hidden got their way.

Anyway, we had a grand walk round this area, and had a FT with mum while sitting and heard her news. Her and her cronies were going out for a high tea at the George later. She was under instruction to use the Walker NOT the sticks as she thought she would do! I have told her if she falls with the stick and ends up in hospital with a fall I am not visiting her , to make her use the Walker! Use the dam Walker.

We got the bus back which dropped us off right outside our apartment.

A cuppa and a snack and then out again for a short time. All that on the go and I am shattered by early evening. Valencia has good nightlife but it passes us by…….
