Almost a Dead Parrot ...

The last picking of home-grown tulips is nearing its final rest in the compost heap. I think there was only one parrot tulip (my favourite) in the mix. Perhaps next year I'll plant named varieties rather than the random mix I had this year. 

The pattern of one day sunny, one day cloudy continues. Today it was sunshine and warmth. We even managed to have lunch outside, and our pre-dinner drinks. Tomorrow we might put the gazebo up - but that might be a bit premature. We'll see ...
