Shades of green

The house opposite to ours, catching the late afternoon sun over the top of our roof. Their balcony is wearing a lovely shade of Spring green, testament to the more than usual rainfall this last six months.

These houses aren't built for continual damp, there's no damp course and the roofs leak during heavy downpours. When there are normally only three periods of heavy rain in a year it doesn't matter, but maybe things will have to change.

The morning was spent at the Mas, with me picking and freezing more broad beans and then carrying on with the weeding, and with Steve concreting in preparation for fixing the pool steps, and also a path connecting the sun terrace with the steps to the garage. And in the afternoon I went to the knitting group for the last but one time this summer.
