It Just Never Gets Old

The view that is. Also, Blip, but sometimes we/I just need a reset I guess. I had a wonderful time with a dear friend of so many years a couple of weeks ago and the day she left, a new friend stopped by to tell us she was recently diagnosed with Lung Cancer. What a jolt that was. A woman who has smoked for too many years to count, now 76 and full of life. She is the woman who stopped regularly to give Myles treats and just have a cuppa.  It has been a wake up for sure. The tumor is inoperable but doesn't appear to have spread. She'll begin treatments soon I think and everything will change for awhile, but trying to remain optimistic for her.
