three quarters of a century

Mr I’s 75th birthday today and a lovely sunny day for it. Surprise visit from Kathy and Holly (plus John and Jim) this morning. They were here at 9.30! They brought some nice nibbles and we all shared Mr I’s cake (Bakewell tart made yesterday) that looked very good with two firework candles in it. A lovely bottle of bubbly too. He’s had a really good day with some great presents. Photo’s a tad blurry - the camera was on the wrong setting - but I like it.
