Blin' Johnny's Awa'

We were catching the ferry to Belfast for a weekend’s orienteering, but stopped off in Stranraer to take a couple of Turf zones we hadn’t taken before. This is one of them which is a piece of street art of John Alexander, known as Blind Johnnie, who was a local character in Stranraer. He played the recorder or his squeeze box around the town. In 2012, the local community were given an opportunity to decide which character from the town's history should be selected for a new piece of artwork. This is the result where you can see his Squeezebox and in between his silhouette; very clever. The extra is piece of street art in Catholic North Belfast; very blunt.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is a blue socket.
