That's a relief

We were fed up of grubby looking net curtains so opted for colonial shutters but were worried they may cut out too much light and make the room look gloomy. There's no way of knowing before hand so it's a bit of a gamble and not a particularly cheap one either. Anyway, good fortune was on it side - if anything, the room looks brighter.
