Eye to eye

It’s a few months now since isbi had her cataract operation so today we headed out to Orange for a checkup with Justin, the optometrist. There’s a minor complication so we’ll be out there again in a couple of weeks for the ophthalmic surgeon to do some laser work.
Justin has plenty of modern equipment to fit today’s theme and it doesn’t look cheap!
If possible, we travel west for all our goods and services, anything from new cars to eye surgery. It’s nearly 2 hours to Orange, the same as it is to Sydney. Quality and price are the same but there the comparison ends - the Central West wins on traffic, accessibility, friendliness, scenery and whatever else you can think of. If it sounds like I hate cities, you’d be right!
