Zu viel Regen

Too much rain - way to much rain!

It has been raining more or less constantly for the last seven or so days. And the temperatures were ranging between +3°C and +8°C - crazy considering we already have end of May. Of course that isn't very beneficial for all plant life. And the hop plants are really suffering. Good news is that the twines are halfway up. Bad news is that their leaves are turning to a lightish green or yellow - a clear sign for some deficit. In this case: lack of sunshine and warmer temperatures. If the weather won't change rather quickly and quite dramatically, chances are high that this year's crop will be below average (regarding both quality and quantity).
