Writing cards to strangers

One of my other hobbies is “Postcrossing”.
Postcrossing is a fun way to practicing my English, and to ‘talk’ with people from all over the world by postcards. It works like this: after making an account you can ask for the adres of another Postcrosser. You get some information about him or her by reading the profile, and then you sent a card with an ID number. This number is used by the Postcrosser who gets your card to register the card. When your card is registered your adres is given to another Postcrosser somewhere around the world, who is sending a card to you. It’s a fun thing to do and you get beautiful cards, wonderful messages, recipes or poems and all kind of different surprising cards in your mailbox. As you can see I have got quite some cards already since I started.
