Lake Calavera

Lake Calavera was formed after a 490 foot-long dam was built in 1940. Now it a popular place to walk and is less than two miles from our condo. While it looks like a paved pathway in this photo, only the access from the street and the section across the dam is actually concrete. The rest of the roughly two mile circumnavigation is accomplished on rough dirt trails.
