Chinese Elm

Yesterday at dusk the flowering elms in Flora and Knight reserve were attracting flocks of rainbow lorikeets. The canopy was too high for bird shots so I inspected the bark instead: egg cases, insects, fluffy white stuff (lerp?), a fossilised-looking spider that suddenly moved.
