Thunder On The Mountain

It was a sunny day for a drive up the island.  The clouds cloaking the volcanoes even lifted for me.  This is Ruapehu.  The extra is a mural at the Taupo Airport made from clay tiles by the late Barry Brickell.  I'm not flying anywhere I made a special detour to see it.  When I have done some Google research I will add to the story.  It shows the three volcanoes and Lake Taupo.  I was trying to point to where I lived in Turangi but I was too short.
